Why Is the Query and Index Log Empty?
If the query/index log remains blank despite clicking View Log, two things can be in cause:
- For query and index logs: No querying or indexing action has occurred during the specified time period. Try
modifying the period. Remember that logs are deleted after the number of days specified
in the Log Archive section of the Settings page (Logs > Settings).
- For query log: Query logging is disabled. Access the Settings page (Logs > Settings) and, in the Queries section, select Enable query logging. Click Apply Changes. New query logs are registered, but no log can be displayed for previous time periods.
