Adding Display Fields to Search Results With the .NET Interface Editor
Note: Fields are available as Display Fields in the .NET Interface Editor only when they are set as display fields in the index (see Managing Display Fields).
To add a display field to search results with the .NET Interface Editor

Access the Coveo .NET Front-End Interface Editor (see Opening the .NET Interface Editor).

Select the Search Interfaces tab.

In the Current Interface drop-down list, select the interface for which you want to add a display field.

Select the Fields menu.

In the navigation panel on the left, select Display Fields.

Next to Additional Fields to Display with Results, click Add New.

Under Edit Display Field:

In the Title box:

Enter an English label to identify the field.
This label appears in the search results.

Click the
button next to the box to open a dialog box where you can enter the label translated for the other supported languages.

In the Field to Display drop-down list, select the field that you want to add as a display field.

In the Maximum Length box, enter the maximum number of characters to display.

Click OK.

Under Additional Fields to Display with Results you can:

Modify the display order of the fields by clicking the Up and Down links.

Remove display fields by selecting them and clicking Delete.
