What Does Each Colored Tag Mean in Topics?

Browsing the Coveo online help, you come across different colored tags. Located at the beginning of topics, sections and procedures, or next to parameters, tags have basically two uses. They inform you when the connector parameters also apply to the related source or security provider, and whether tagged elements are available in your Coveo product version. Since each Coveo product version has its particularities, tags are useful to know quickly if tagged elements apply to your version or not.

The following table lists the different tags and their meaning:

Tags Meaning
Source The tagged connector parameter must also be added in the configuration page of the corresponding source.
Security provider The tagged connector parameter must also be added in the configuration page of the corresponding security provider.
